Whether we have partnered in an inventory management program or not, we are still committed to helping you at the spindle. The Buckeye team available to help you has a wide range of tooling knowledge. Our field staff includes degreed engineers and associates who have worked for tooling manufacturers. And, their training never stops whether at the machine or in a formal classroom setting. This means that problem solving starts immediately. There is no time lost waiting for the factory representative.
With our “shop-floor” know-how our team will:
Analyze the problem
Offer tooling alternatives
Coordinate testing
Document the results
Make recommendations
If a tooling change is warranted, we will work to ensure a smooth transition that does not interrupt production and minimizes potentially obsolete inventory. In addition, our staff can conduct in-plant training classes for machinists and engineers from the most basic to advanced tooling applications.
Because metalworking fluids have always been an important product for Buckeye, over ten years ago we added a coolant specialist and set up an in-house fluids testing laboratory. The specialist pulls fluid samples, performs the analysis and uses the test results to maintain peak performance and sump life.
Whether in your plant or from a Buckeye office, our experienced customer service associates provide another important layer of support. Our inside customer service representatives are assigned to specific customers so they have an intimate understanding of your operations and staff. They receive on-going product training and closely support our field staff.
In a nut shell, everyone at Buckeye Industrial Supply knows how to roll up their sleeves, dig in and help you find the right solutions. It may be a cliche, but at Buckeye we truly believe that our people make the difference.
